Who we are

Affluent Interactive FZ-LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through our mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to openness, transparency, and safeguarding your privacy.

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the App, how we use it, the legal bases for processing, with whom we share it, how long we retain it, and your rights under data protection laws, including GDPR.

• Advertising identifiers: device identifiers such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Google’s Advertising ID (AAID), collected with your consent where required, for attribution, analytics, and advertising purposes.
• Notification identifiers: device push tokens required to deliver push notifications and in-app messages.
• Communications: customer support requests, feedback, survey responses, and in-app messages or emails.
• User content: files, images, notes, or other content you upload or generate in the App.
• Device permissions and sensors (only if you enable them): camera, photos, microphone, contacts, calendar, location (approximate or precise), push notifications, and biometrics for device-level authentication.
• Location data: approximate or precise geolocation, used for features such as personalized content, analytics, or advertising, collected only with your consent.
• Transactional metadata: records related to in-app transactions or subscriptions (processed via Apple App Store or Google Play Billing; we do not store full payment card details).
• From third parties: identifiers and profile attributes received if you connect the App to third-party services (e.g., single sign-on, CRM, analytics, or marketing platforms).

Special Category Data

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (e.g., health, biometrics for identification purposes, religious beliefs) through the App. Please do not submit such data. If processing becomes necessary, we will obtain explicit consent or rely on another lawful basis permitted by law.

How We Use Your Data (Purposes and Legal Bases)

• Provide and operate the App, including account management, core functionality, and customer support (legal basis: performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating the App).
• Secure the App, prevent fraud and abuse, and diagnose and fix issues (legal basis: our legitimate interests; legal obligations where applicable).
• Improve and develop features, conduct analytics, and measure performance (legal basis: our legitimate interests to improve the App; consent where required for analytics identifiers).
• Communicate with you about service updates, changes, and notices (legal basis: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests).
• Send marketing communications where you opt in, and tailor content using your preferences (legal basis: consent; you may withdraw at any time).
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and enforce our rights (legal basis: legal obligation; legitimate interests).

Push Notifications and In-App Messaging

We may send you push notifications or in-app messages for service updates and, if you consent, for marketing. You can manage permissions in your device settings or in-app preferences.

Cookies, SDKs, and Similar Technologies

The App may use software development kits (SDKs), local storage, and similar technologies for essential operations, analytics, crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics), and, with consent where required, for attribution and engagement measurement. Please refer to our in-app settings or SDK disclosures for a current list of key partners and to manage preferences.

Sharing Your Data

We may share personal data with:

• Service providers and processors who help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer support, security). We require them to protect your data and act only on our instructions.
• Integration partners you choose to connect (e.g., SSO, CRM, martech platforms). Sharing is limited to what is necessary to enable the integration.
• Law enforcement, regulators, or courts where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Third parties in connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, or asset sale), in which case we will ensure appropriate safeguards and notify you where required.

We do not sell your personal data.

International Data Transfers

If we transfer personal data outside the UAE, we will ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or reliance on adequacy regulations. By providing us with any data through the application, you are consenting to its potential transfer internationally.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods depend on the data type and context; where feasible, we will provide in-app details or anonymise data after it is no longer needed.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable, access controls, monitoring, and regular testing. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to legal limits, you have the right to:

Children

The App is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it where required.

We do not engage in solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We may use profiling to tailor content and improve engagement, based on your interactions, subject to your preferences and consent where required.

Permissions and Device Data

Some features may require access to device functions (e.g., camera, location). We will request permission before access. You may decline or revoke permissions, though some features may not function without them.

Third-Party Links and Services

The App may link to or integrate with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their handling of personal data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email where appropriate. Please review updates carefully. Continued use of the App after changes take effect indicates your acknowledgement.
